The US response to Iran's seven conditions for resolving the conflict is insufficient. This was announced on October 11 by the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Mohsen Rezai.

"The United States has agreed to some of Iran's seven conditions, but we consider their response to be insufficient," reads a post on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

He also announced a change in Tehran's approach to diplomacy and stressed that there would be no return to the previous state of affairs.

Tasnim news agency reported on September 12 that Iran, through intermediaries, had provided the United States with seven conditions for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz. According to the agency, after intensive technical and diplomatic negotiations, Iran and Oman signed a final agreement in late August. It concerns new routes of entry and exit through the strait: the route of entry into the Persian Gulf passes completely through the territorial waters of Iran, part of the exit route also runs in Iranian waters.

On October 4, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, Abbas Araqchi, announced that the Strait of Hormuz would be unblocked in a week if the United States accepted Iran's conditions and stopped its aggression. He also appealed to European states to refrain from participating in the "incitement of war" launched by Washington and Tel Aviv against Tehran.
