Train traffic in Bryansk region resumed in full
Train traffic on the Poluzhye–Vygonichi section has been fully restored in the Bryansk region. This was announced on October 11 by the press service of the Moscow Railway (MZhD).
"Railway workers have completed restoration work on the Poluzhye – Vygonichi section of the Bryansk region. Train traffic on the stage has resumed in full," the message on the Telegram channel says.
The governor of the Bryansk region, Egor Kovalchuk, reported on the eve of damage to the railway bridge as a result of an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). At the same time, the railway connection on the Bryansk–Unecha–Gomel section was disrupted. Then the Ministry of Railways clarified that the movement of trains on the Poluzhye – Vygonichi route was temporarily stopped.
A similar incident has already occurred in the Bryansk region on September 29: train traffic was stopped on the Trosna – Rzhanitsa stage at night, the railway tracks were damaged during the passage of the Smolensk – Bryansk train. On the same day, traffic on the sections was restored.
