Honored Artist of Ukraine Natalia Perchevskaya died at the age of 75. This was announced on October 11 by the management of the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater.

"Today it is difficult to find words that could convey the pain of this loss. The passing of a man who has devoted his life to art always leaves a void. And at the same time, there remains a memory that is cherished by colleagues, friends and viewers. We express our sincere condolences to the family, friends and everyone who knew, loved and respected Natalia Nikolaevna," the theater's Facebook page says (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

Natalia Perchevskaya was born on June 1, 1952 in Kiev. She graduated from the Ivan Karpenko-Kary Kyiv State Institute of Theater Arts. Since 1974, the actress has served in the troupe of the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater, where she created many diverse images. She has worked in this theater for more than half a century.

Perchevskaya is also known to viewers. She played in films and TV series "The Return of Mukhtar", "Miracle", "Escape from a New Life", "Gunpowder and Shot" and others. In 2018, the actress was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine.
