Peskov declared Russia's openness to negotiations on Ukraine
Russia remains open to the negotiation process on Ukraine. This was announced on October 11 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"We are maintaining our openness," Peskov said.
He also commented on the question of whether holding elections in Ukraine would be a condition for Moscow to resume negotiations. According to Peskov, Russian President Vladimir Putin has not said anything about this yet.
Peskov said on September 2 that the Russian side is always open to negotiations. Thus, he commented on information about possible initiatives by Turkey and the United Nations, which, as reported, are preparing a platform for dialogue between Russia and Ukraine on the issue of a cease-fire in the Black Sea.
