A large-scale campaign to control the quality of atmospheric air will be held in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The project is being implemented on behalf of Governor Mikhail Kotyukov.

Mandatory visits will take place by the end of 2026, which will affect more than 400 organizations. The inspections will be carried out in connection with the phased introduction of a ban on solid fuels and new environmental laws. The raids will begin soon.

Since September 1, 2025, the use of solid fuels has been banned in Krasnoyarsk, Achinsk, Minusinsk and Lesosibirsk, and exactly one year later these requirements have extended to Kansk and Nazarovo.

According to KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, due to the restrictions, a list of 99 enterprises in five cities has been formed that will come under the close attention of inspectors due to suspicions of using non-alcoholic fuels. Fines for violations will reach 500 thousand rubles.

Also, starting from March 1, 2026, all enterprises of categories I–III are required to have and comply with an agreed action plan to reduce emissions during periods of adverse weather conditions (NMR). Today, only 10% of companies have approved such plans. The remaining 334 organizations will be subject to inspections.

The regional Ministry of Ecology wants to expand the list of enterprises subject to preventive visits. This will strengthen control over compliance with environmental legislation and contribute to improving the environmental situation.

Earlier it was reported that a threefold increase in the number of days with NMU was recorded in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The increase in numbers is due to a change in the regulatory framework
