Russians' demand for flexible employment is steadily increasing. In the third quarter of 2026, according to the data of the service "Work.<url>", the number of new resumes with a preference for part-time work increased by 74%. In addition, applicants' interest in shift work increased by 41%, and in a free schedule — by 4%. Roman Gubanov, Director of Development at Avito Rabota, told Izvestia about this.

"When choosing their main job, Russians are increasingly assessing not only their income level, but also the extent to which the employment format allows them to combine professional and personal tasks. A more flexible schedule is among the significant job selection criteria for 25% of working Russians. Along with flexibility, people pay attention to the interest in the work they are doing — 23% of respondents note it, employment stability — 22%, relationship with a supervisor — 21%, as well as social guarantees and benefits — 13%," he shared.

Gubanov noted that the flexible format is especially in demand among young people: 35% of respondents aged 18-24 choose it — 10 percentage points higher than the average in the survey, Avito Rabota emphasizes.
