Cosmonauts congratulated Putin on his birthday from space
Russian cosmonauts have congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on his birthday directly from the International Space Station. This was announced on October 7 by the Roscosmos State Corporation.
"Hello, dear Vladimir Vladimirovich. I am Roscosmos cosmonaut Peter Dubrov. The other day, I took command of the International Space Station and from aboard this wonderful facility, now I want to congratulate you on your birthday," said the cosmonaut.
Cosmonaut Anna Kikina thanked the Head of state for supporting the development of Russian cosmonautics. In turn, Sergey Teteryatnikov, who was in orbit for the first few days, noted that conditions have been created in the country that allow ordinary people to travel beyond the Earth. According to him, this is a clear example of the fact that Russia is a country of opportunities.
Right from orbit, the cosmonauts wished the Russian leader the realization of all his plans and promised to eat a grapefruit for his health in the evening.
On the same day, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Putin on his birthday. He stressed that Putin's "fruitful and creative activity" serves as an example of responsible and selfless service to the Fatherland. Later, the head of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, also congratulated the President of Russia on his birthday.
