A huge bear started a pogrom at the Magadan cemetery and stole the body of a deceased woman. A source told Izvestia about this on October 6.

The family came to the cemetery in Magadan to visit the grave of a relative who died at the end of February, the source said. They found an open grave and a broken fence on the spot. The woman's body was gone, and remnants of clothing were scattered around. The churchyard staff said they had not seen anything.

After that, the relatives went on a search on their own and found about ten skulls and many bones in the forest 300 m from the cemetery. Upon inspection of the territory, it turned out that there were traces of a very large bear near the desecrated grave and throughout the cemetery.

There is a suspicion that the predator has settled in this area for a long time and has been digging up bodies for years. The family contacted the police and the Magadan City Hall.
