New films presented at the international content forum in St. Petersburg

New fairy tales, high—profile premieres and blockbusters with multi-million dollar budgets - the Russian cinema is preparing a big program for the audience. At the St. Petersburg international content forum, the creators presented films that will be released in the near future.

"This is, of course, a production project, but Nikita Vlasov is at the center. He united all of us in desire and invented this world. And in this world, of course, Morocco occupies an important part. It was also connected with the visual solution of the desert itself and the wonders that happen there," Bondarchuk said.

""Black Silk", the sequel to "Red Silk", is the most anticipated blockbuster of 2027. The creative team has been thinking for a long time about how to present the film. However, after this playful skit, the first full-fledged trailer with chases, flights and even bright dancing was shown.

"We shot in the "Avatar mountains" — these are the famous Jinzadze Mountains. "But "Avatar" is the reason they are famous, but in "Avatar" it was used more as a reference for computer graphics. But we were able to go there anyway, we shot all possible and impossible locations," said Andrei Volgin, director of the film "Black Silk."

"This is a big adventure, fantasy comedy about how a champion, an MMA fighter, finds himself in the past in a bizarre way. The champion named Neanderthal finds himself in prehistoric times on the territory of Russia. And there, the strongest person, who is used to solving everything by force, turns out to be the weakest," said producer Alexander Andryushchenko.

"Sleeping Beauty" and "Sadko" from fairy tales are at different stages of production. But "Miracle Yudo" can already be assessed by the official trailer, where Sergey Bezrukov plays a formidable magician who does not want to give his daughter Joy to a common man. Cinema representatives have already dubbed the film our "Twilight".

"Since we're currently re-releasing the entire "Twilight" franchise, I think that's our answer. And I hope that the audience will appreciate it, including young viewers," said Elena Polyanskaya, a representative of the independent cinema chain.

In "Fir Trees 13" Sergey Burunov will appear in the frame for the first time in a New Year's costume, which the forum participants could try on themselves. Previously, Burunov's voice was behind the scenes, as was Konstantin Khabensky's voice. There was a narrator in different years. This time it will be Fyodor Bondarchuk.

"When you read this text, you understand what will happen on New Year's Eve. You have the eldest son, he will be 35 soon, the youngest son is still a little early for him. You do all this for your children," Fyodor Bondarchuk shared.
