An inspection was launched in the Astrakhan region after the death of two children on the water.

An investigation is underway in the Astrakhan region into the deaths of two children as a result of an accident on the water. This was reported on September 23 in the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the region.

"In the village of Boldinsky, Privolzhsky district, two brothers aged three and five went for a walk. Subsequently, a scooter and the body of one of the children were found on the banks of the Bolda River," the Telegram channel says.

During the search, the body of the second child was found. The Volga interdistrict Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Astrakhan region is establishing all the circumstances of the incident.

The latest case occurred in Krasnodar — a 14-year-old teenager drowned during rowing lessons.

The two-year-old son of St. Petersburg director Peter Demkin drowned in the Leningrad region on August 29. The director said that his two sons were walking on the house plot. The eldest is about 4.5 years old, and the youngest is 2.5. The father went to the car for a few minutes to hang his wet clothes, and when he returned, he discovered that his youngest son was missing. The man immediately began combing the area on his own, but the search did not bring results.
