The Syrian President suggested that the United States give Israel New Jersey

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, during a discussion of the occupied Golan Heights, proposed to American leader Donald Trump to give Israel the state of New Jersey. This was reported by Euronews on September 23.

"Why don't you give them New Jersey, and not the Golan Heights, especially since they are not yours to dispose of," the Syrian leader said at an event by the American think tank Atlantic Council.

Ahmed al-Sharaa added that any attempts violating the country's sovereignty and international law will be stopped, and "the Golan Heights will remain Syrian territory." In addition, the Syrian leader jokingly reminded Trump that New Jersey is "full of Democrats" who will not vote for Trump.
