"Gazprom" resumed gas supplies via the "Power of Siberia" after preventive maintenance

"Gazprom" resumed gas transportation via the "Power of Siberia" gas pipeline after the completion of scheduled maintenance work. This was announced on September 22 in the press service of the holding.

""Scheduled maintenance work provided for in the contract has been successfully completed on the Power of Siberia gas pipeline,"— the Telegram channel said in a statement.

The prevention was carried out from September 15 to 22. The company clarified that all planned activities have been completed in full. It is specified that under a contract with the Chinese company CNPC, preventive maintenance on the equipment and systems of the "Power of Siberia" gas pipeline is carried out twice a year — in spring and autumn.

The day before, it became known that supplies of Russian liquefied natural gas to China increased by 43% year-on-year in July 2026. During the month, Russia exported 951,000 tons of LNG to China, compared to 664,000 tons in July 2025. Thus, the volume of supplies increased by 287 thousand tons.
