Ovechkin's agent denied information about the hockey player's injury

Alexander Ovechkin, the captain of the "Washington Capitals" hockey club, was not injured. This was announced on September 22 by the forward's agent Gleb Chistyakov.

"There is no injury [to Ovechkin]. He misses it because these are pre—season games," Chistyakov said in an interview with "RIA Novosti".

The day before, The Hockey News reported that Ovechkin was injured before the start of the National Hockey League season. The upcoming season will be Ovechkin's 22nd in the NHL. Last season, he became the Washington Capitals' top marksman, scoring 32 goals and 64 points.
