A pensioner raped an eight-year-old girl in Kuban for four months

The Absheron district court found a 70-year-old man guilty of five counts of crimes against the sexual integrity of an eight-year-old girl. This was reported on September 21 in the Telegram channel of the court.

"In the period from June to September 2023, the defendant committed sexual violence and indecent acts against the victim, using her helpless state due to her 8-year age," the report says.

The hearings on the criminal case were held behind closed doors. The perpetrator was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 15 years to be served in a high-security penal colony. In addition, the man was banned from engaging in activities related to the upbringing and education of children for 15 years. The verdict has not yet entered into force.
