The Ministry of Finance is preparing changes to account for the cost of protecting facilities from drones

The Russian Ministry of Finance, together with industry representatives, is working on changes to tax legislation that will allow for the cost of protecting and restoring facilities after drone attacks. This was announced on September 21 by Alexey Sazanov, State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, at the Moscow Financial Forum.

"We are currently working with industries, representatives of various industries, respectively, to work out what changes are required in tax legislation," TASS quoted him as saying.

According to Sazanov, we are not talking about direct compensation to companies, but about the possibility of taking into account the corresponding costs when taxing. He suggested that the necessary amendments could be made in the autumn.

Roman Chekushov, State Secretary and Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, said on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum in September that it was premature to talk about the full restoration of logistics centers affected by attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Logistics schemes are being rebuilt, and new facilities are being introduced to replace those that have been eliminated.
