The founder of MIXIT called the case against the CEO of the brand a pressure on business

The company of the MIXIT brand considers the situation around CEO Oleg Pai as pressure on the business and an attempt at a raider takeover. This was stated on September 20 by Elena Nazarova, co-founder of MIXIT, in an interview with "Izvestia".

According to her, the company does not understand how a civil dispute with a former employee turned into a criminal case.

"We do not understand how a civil dispute with our former employee could escalate into some kind of criminal case. <...> We assess this as pressure on business and an attempt to take over the company," Nazarova says.

According to her, the conflict with the former employee has been ongoing since 2019 and has been repeatedly resolved in court. The company's interests are now represented by lawyers.

At the same time, MIXIT continues to operate normally: production, logistics, office and other departments are functioning unchanged. Nazarova also said that if the situation develops further, she is ready to appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin.

The wanted defendants in the fraud case were found to have "golden passports" and property abroad.

The arrest of Pai became known on September 18. Later, the Tverskoy Court of Moscow announced that the man had been placed under house arrest on charges of fraud.
