The oldest resident of Russia at the age of 121 voted in the State Duma elections

The oldest resident of Russia, 121-year-old Yakha Khashagova, took part in the election. This was announced on September 20 by the Ministry of Health of the Chechen Republic.

Representatives of the election commission and medical workers visited the centenarian at home on Chechen Women's Day. After she voted, the doctors conducted an examination, checked her health status and congratulated her on the holiday.

Yakha Khashagova was born in 1905. According to the department of the Social Fund of Russia for the Chechen Republic, she has 20 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.
