Trump has ordered the conversion of the Arc de Triomphe in Washington into a military complex.

On September 20, US President Donald Trump announced that he had ordered the conversion of the Arc de Triomphe under construction in Washington into an advanced military complex.

"At the urgent request of the US Armed Forces and for national security purposes, I have agreed to transform the magnificent Arc de Triomphe, which has been planned since the Civil War <...> into a first—class military complex," he wrote on the Truth Social network.

According to him, the facility is planned to be used to house and store a significant number of drones. In addition, Trump said that snipers will be stationed on the roof of the building and the adjacent square.

The American leader also added that, according to him, there will be no analogues of such a structure in any country in the world.
