"Soyuzmultfilm" film Studio became a resident of the capital's video game cluster

""Soyuzmultfilm" film studio has received the status of a resident of the Moscow cluster of video games and Animation, supervised by the "Agency for Creative Industries" (AKI). This was announced on Friday, September 18, by the Minister of the Moscow government, head of the Department of Culture Alexei Fursin.

According to him, the participation of such a major player in the media market will significantly strengthen the ecosystem of the association. The Minister stressed that the cluster's infrastructure would help the studio implement new projects, and its presence would expand opportunities for exchange of experience between market leaders and young companies.

Juliana Slashcheva, Chairman of "Soyuzmultfilm" Board of Directors, noted that the new status would allow the company to broadcast its competencies and use the technological developments of its colleagues.

"The studio follows the 360 concept in its activities, which means that we are open to projects in various fields, including the development of video games based on animation brands. This is a significant priority for us," she said.

Slashcheva added that the main task of the studio in the cluster will remain the creation of full-length animated films. Based on the site, the company plans to scale up its capacity and bring content production to a new level.

""""""Soyuzmultfilm" is currently working on a number of projects, including the cartoon fairy tale "Malusha and the enchanted Prince", fantasy "Secrets of the Enchanter" and adaptation of Anton Chekhov's "Seagull" in the style of anime. ""The Theory of Coincidence" biographical film and the plasticine painting "Mad Planet" are also in development.

The Moscow cluster of video games and animation was opened in November 2025. The site provides a full production cycle: there is a data processing center, a motion capture studio, a recording studio and a specialized cinema hall. Residents can also use the "Moscow Video Game Export" program to promote their projects on the international market.

The studio plans to present more than ten projects in the next three years.

On August 21, it was reported that Moscow video game studios will participate in the WePlay Expo, which will be held on November 21-22 in Shanghai. Recently, more than 20 games from the capital's developers were presented at the ChinaJoy exhibition in China. As a result, agreements were concluded on localization, distribution and joint development of products.
