""Preparations for the launch of mass production of the updated Aurus Senat sedan are underway, pre-production samples are undergoing a complex of tests both at the production site and at FSUE NAMI," Rossiyskaya Gazeta" reports on September 17.

According to the FSUE "NAMI", as part of the finalizing of the assembly process at the Aurus plant in Alabuga, a series of tests is being conducted, including functional checks of all systems, quality assessment, as well as a number of additional tests.

The validation cycle is focused on compliance with the standards of the luxury segment. The tests also accompany the assembly process itself — each car goes through several stages of verification and configuration. In particular, a roll test is used, during which the acceleration speed reaches about 150 km/ h - this allows you to calibrate the operation of the transmission and all—wheel drive system. Special attention is paid to the quality of sound insulation and tightness.
