"In Kamchatka, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations aviation was deployed to search for a tourist in the Ust-Kamchatsky district. The Mi-8 helicopter of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations took off in search of a tourist who disappeared in the area of the Plosky Tolbachik volcano," the publication says in the "Maks" messenger.

It is noted that the rescuers took with them the necessary equipment for possible assistance. Search and rescue teams are on board the helicopter.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region reported a missing tourist a day earlier, on September 13. It was noted that the man was hiking on his own, moving close to a separate tour group.
