Muscovites are invited to the "Hero of my district" forum
On September 16, Moscow will host the "Hero of My District" forum, dedicated to the project of the same name, in which students interview prominent residents of the capital. This was announced by Marina Prozorova, Deputy head of the Department of Territorial Executive Authorities of Moscow.
"The forum is held annually and unites modern heroes of our city every time. These are the participants of the SVO, rescuers, doctors, volunteers and many others," said Prozorova.
The forum program will consist of two parts. The first one will host patriotic workshops, first aid classes, and an exhibition of costumes for emergency workers. In the second part, communication with the project participants will take place. Among them are Sergey Karelin, coordinator of the Moscow Association of Veterans of the Central Military District, Sergey Zabelin, teacher—educator, Cossack chieftain and organizer of the Museum of the Great Patriotic War at School No. 1238, and Alexander Fadeichev, coordinator of the Popular Front Youth Group in Moscow. They will discuss the succession of generations, volunteering and support for defenders of the Fatherland.
The activists of the City Center for Professional and Career Development launched the project "Hero of my district" in 2022. Initially, students talked about outstanding neighbors through interviews, but later the initiative reached the city level and was supplemented by forums, meetings, discussions and round tables.
The forum will be held at 40-42 Taganskaya Street. It starts at 17:00, admission is free.
