Saudi Arabia has suspended the operation of the "East—West" oil pipeline
Saudi Arabia has suspended the supply of oil through the "East—West" pipeline. This was announced on September 11 by the Ministry of Energy of the Kingdom.
"The "East—West" pipeline has been suspended," the message on the social network X says.
It is noted that the reason for the suspension of work was a precautionary measure after a series of attacks.
On April 12, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Energy announced the restoration of oil pumping through the "East—West" pipeline, which was affected by the Iranian attacks. As a result of exceeding production targets by 7 thousand barrels per day, some facilities of the kingdom's energy system were affected.
