The Investigative Committee has launched an investigation into the death of a man in a fire in the Pskov region.

In the Dnovsky district of the Pskov region, a man died as a result of a fire in a private house. An inspection has been organized, according to the regional SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

The fire occurred in the early morning of September 11 on Kosmonavtom Street in the city of Dno. During the extinguishing of a private house, rescuers found the body of a 63-year-old man.

The preliminary cause of the fire in the Ministry of Emergency Situations is called carelessness when smoking. Two rooms in the house burned out, and another room was blackened.

The Investigative Committee on the death of a person in a fire organized an inspection. A number of examinations have been appointed, and all the circumstances are being clarified, the Pskov News feed writes.

In the summer, for the same reason, a fire occurred in a three-apartment building in the village of Golubovo near Pskov. As a result, a man and an elderly woman were killed.
