Up to 85 million rubles will be allocated for renovation of courtyards in the historical center of Murmansk

Murmansk has announced the search for contractors to improve three courtyards in the historical center. This is reported by "Bi-port" news agency with reference to the documentation of the relevant auctions on the public procurement portal.

The most expensive repairs are expected to be "Papanin's yard", where houses No. 8, 10, 12/17 on Sofya Perovskaya Street and houses No. 5 and 7 on Pushkinskaya Street are located. The roadway and sidewalks will be put in order there, sewerage will be restored, parking and lighting will be arranged, and a playground with children's and sports equipment will be installed.

The second most expensive courtyard will be at the "Five Corners" square. There are houses No. 22/4 and 24 on Leningradskaya Street, as well as No. 11/2 on Komintern. The same works will be carried out on the territory, as well as a recreation area with chess tables, urns and benches.

And the last courtyard area is located in the area of house No. 1 on Trade Union Street and house No. 15 on Comintern. The roadway will be renovated, the playground and sidewalk will be covered, and stairs will be installed.

The news agency notes that up to 52 million rubles will be allocated for the improvement of the first courtyard, up to 25.1 million rubles for the second, and up to 7.8 million rubles for the third. Earlier in Murmansk, a contractor was also identified to carry out pit repairs of roads in the historical center. The contract value was 46.4 million rubles.

Earlier it was reported that construction of a new year-round swimming pool continues in Murmansk in the residential area of Roslyakovo. The pool will be equipped with six swimming lanes, which will allow for amateur training and competitions. As of the beginning of August, the facility's readiness reached 65%.
