The International Youth Festival has started in Yekaterinburg

The International Youth Festival (IFM-2026) started in Yekaterinburg on September 11. The city welcomes young scientists, bloggers, volunteers and activists from all over the world. The event will bring together thousands of schoolchildren and students from almost 200 countries.

The geography of the festival is extensive: India, China, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.

"I'm excited about the opportunity to talk about cultural differences and learn more about new cultures. I am engaged in research in the field of medical sciences. That's why I want to talk about how medicine works in different countries and better understand how people relate to medicine," said Sofia Fasos, a guest of the festival from Brazil.

The forum participants will be selected in areas of interest — IT, creative industries, media and sports. Workshops, creative sessions and meetings with young leaders are waiting for them.

On September 9, the VK press service announced that guests of the International Youth Festival will be able to participate in the activities of the company's interactive space and join the educational, sports, children's and music programs.
