The minor son of Anna Kameneva, an associate professor at the Moscow State University Higher School of Public Audit and the wife of Gadzhi Makhachev, the former Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Dagestan, confessed to organizing the murder of his mother. This was reported on September 11 by law enforcement agencies.

"The 17-year-old confessed his guilt," the law enforcement agencies told TASS.

According to the agency, the young man informed the investigation of the details of the crime, which he allegedly committed together with an acquaintance.

A source from Izvestia reported on August 26 that Kameneva was killed in the village of Zhukovka in the Moscow region. Traces of blood, a towel with brown spots, a traumatic pistol and shell casings were also found in the house. A friend of the deceased's son was arrested on suspicion of committing a crime.

A correspondent for Izvestia reported on August 27 that the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow had arrested Kameneva until October 25 on charges of murdering her minor son. The meeting was held behind closed doors. The teenager was tried as an accused in the murder case. In addition, on September 10, the metropolitan court arrested in absentia the alleged perpetrator of the murder of Kameneva.
