A new fire was recorded near Novorossiysk

A forest fire was again recorded near Novorossiysk. This time, the fire occurred near the village of Verkhnebakanskaya.

According to KrasnodarMedia news agency with reference to the GBU CC "Regional Forest Fire Center", the fire was recorded by the "Forest Guard" system in the Sheskharis district forestry. The approximate fire area is 0.8 hectares.

The fire fighting units of the Novorossiysk Forestry have already started extinguishing. Experts are trying to contain the fire. The causes of the fire are being investigated.

The agency clarifies that on Thursday morning, September 10, rescuers extinguished a fire on an area of 3.4 hectares in the area of the village of Rayevskaya in the Anapa district forestry and on an area of 1.7 hectares in the area of Mount Koldun in the Sheskharis district forestry.

On September 9, a forest fire in the area of the Durso farm was eliminated in the Krasnodar Territory. The area covered by the fire was 1.64 hectares. Also, in 23 minutes, a fire was extinguished in the area of the Blue Bay in Gelendzhik on an area of 0.04 hectares.
