The IAEA reported on the expansion of the DPRK's nuclear program

The DPRK continues to expand its nuclear program, including the construction of new facilities for uranium enrichment. This is stated in the report of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The Agency reported the identification of an additional uranium enrichment facility in Yongbyon and signs of continued operation of facilities in Yongbyon and Canton. At the same time, the IAEA notes that it has not had access to North Korea's nuclear facilities since 2009 and is conducting an assessment based on satellite imagery and open data.

The report also talks about the expansion of activities at the uranium facilities in Pyongsan and Wolbisan and the continued operation of reactors in Yongbyon.

At the same time, the Agency stressed its readiness to resume inspections in the country to verify the nuclear program.
