Larry the cat has been living at the British Prime Minister's residence since 2011. Formally, he is the main mousetrap of Downing Street and even receives a salary of £100 (about 11 thousand rubles) per year.

Andy Burnham is the seventh prime minister in Larry's 15 years in Downing Street. After the previous prime Minister Keir Starmer announced his decision to resign in June, Larry the cat joked that if this continued, he would stop memorizing the names of prime ministers.
