house.The Russian Federation has launched a free course on "Digitalization of Territorial Development Management" on the Environment for Life portal. This was reported in the external communications service of the state-owned company.

The course focuses on the use of digital tools in planning and managing the development of territories. His task is to create a holistic view of the role of spatial data in the digitalization of the industry, key government information systems and the principles of applying geoanalytics to solve practical problems.

"To date, there have been no open information resources that would explain how this ecosystem works and how to work with it. The new course fills this gap and forms a common language for customers, developers and users of digital platforms," said DOM Managing Director for IT and Digital Transformation.Russian Federation Nikolay Kozak.

The program includes video tutorials, articles, and additional materials for self-study. Users will learn about the sources, structure, and quality of spatial data, key government information systems, and their interactions. Practical examples show how authorities, developers of territorial projects and developers can use digital tools to analyze territories, prepare solutions and monitor their implementation.

Separate blocks tell about promising areas of digitalization, including digital models, doubles and master plans.

"Different stages of the territory's development require different data and digital tools. One set of information is needed to analyze the initial situation, another to select a scenario and prepare documents, and a third to monitor implementation. Therefore, the course is based on the logic of the management cycle," said the Director of Urban Environment Development at DOM.Russian Federation Anton Finogenov.

The course is designed for representatives of regional and municipal authorities, development institutes and design organizations, as well as architects, urban planners and urbanists.
