Sobyanin visited the United Russia public support headquarters
On September 8, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin met with members of the United Russia Party's public support staff.
"Thousands of people come to the headquarters to share their troubles and worries. And the most important thing is that none of these issues disappears, is taken note of, and is being worked out. I am sure that this will be part of our election campaign and, most importantly, a real program of action," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Sobyanin also noted that an expert community of professionals in the fields of healthcare, education, transport and housing and communal services has formed around the headquarters. According to him, a constant lively dialogue with the citizens is extremely important, and he expects that Muscovites will actively come to the polls and make an informed choice.
On August 21, party chairman Dmitry Medvedev said that representatives of United Russia had fulfilled all obligations under the people's program, with which the party won the State Duma elections in 2021. The politician noted that the program has been supplemented with new provisions, taking into account changes in the current situation in Russia. An important condition for its implementation remains a feedback system with citizens and voters.
