An emergency regime has been introduced in two districts of the Chelyabinsk region in connection with active forest fires. Villages are being evacuated.
According to the <url> news agency, about 200 hectares of land are on fire in the Kartalinsky district. The perimeter has already been plowed. Evacuation was carried out in the village of Krasny Yar. The road in the direction of the settlement is blocked for all vehicles except emergency vehicles. More than 100 people and 30 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
In the Kizilsky district, 500 hectares of inaccessible places along the Ural River and the road between the villages of Musin and Ershovsky are burning. 49 people and 14 pieces of equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire. The population was evacuated from the village of Musin.
The regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified that the issue of introducing a special fire protection regime in the entire south of the Chelyabinsk region is being resolved. 52 wildfires with a total area of over 300 hectares were registered and eliminated during the day alone.
In the Sol-Iletsk district of the Orenburg region, due to the spread of fire from a forest fire, 15 houses were destroyed by fire, and 15 more were damaged. The spread of the flame was facilitated by the presence of abandoned areas with a large amount of dry vegetation.
