The Ministry of Defense showed footage of the liberation of Berezniki and Dolgenky in the Kharkiv region

Units of the North group of forces during successful offensive operations in the Kharkiv region took control of the settlements of Berezniki and Dolgenke, and the expansion of the outer ring of encirclement of enemy formations continues. This was announced on September 8 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"Berezniki, Kharkiv region, has come under the control of units of the North group of forces," the ministry said in a statement.

At the same time, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were defeated inside the formed "cauldron" in the areas of the settlements of Malaya Volchya, Varvarovka, Buzovo and Nefedovka, where all attempts to break out of the encirclement were promptly suppressed.

In parallel, the fighters of the North group of forces liberated the village of Dolgenke in the Kharkiv region during combat missions.

Russian troops, advancing in several tactical directions at once, continue to systematically expand the security zone along the state border in the border areas of Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had attacked military-industrial complex facilities in Kiev and the Kiev region. According to the ministry, facilities related to the production and storage of drones and cruise missiles, as well as transport, logistics and distribution centers for military goods, were hit.

The industrial enterprise "Fighting Birds of Ukraine" was hit in the Kiev region. The company has been developing TRX unmanned aerial vehicles with a range of 450 km. It is located in the city of Bila Tserkva.
