The US military sank a floating gas station of a drug cartel in the Pacific Ocean

The US Navy intercepted and sank a floating gas station belonging to the Ecuadorian drug cartel Los Choneros in the eastern Pacific Ocean. This was announced on September 7 by the Southern Command of the US Armed Forces (SOUTHCOM).

"The forces of the Joint Task Force of the Western Hemisphere have successfully intercepted a floating refueling station supporting the illegal drug trade at sea in the eastern Pacific Ocean," X said in a statement on the social network.

It is noted that intelligence confirmed the ship's involvement in the activities of the violent drug-terrorist organization Los Choneros. The crew was evacuated, and the captured persons were handed over to the Ecuadorian authorities. After that, the American forces sank the ship.
