A two-year-old girl died in a private clinic in Ulyanovsk while waiting for a pediatrician's appointment. This was reported on September 7 in the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation for the Ulyanovsk region.
"According to the investigation, on September 6, 2026, a two-year-old girl died in a private clinic in Ulyanovsk, while waiting for a pediatrician's appointment. Earlier, the child had been unwell, and therefore she was assisted by the staff of the ambulance brigade," the agency's website says.
Upon the death of a two-year-old child, the investigative authorities opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("causing death by negligence"). Currently, the Investigative Committee staff is establishing all the circumstances and exact causes of the incident, as well as conducting an expert examination to assess the quality and timeliness of medical care that was previously provided to the child by the staff of the emergency medical team.
On July 15, a 10-year-old boy died in Novosibirsk, who received an electric shock during a walk when he came into contact with one of the downpipes. A criminal case was opened into the incident in accordance with Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence"). The course of the investigation, as explained in the SU IC of the Novosibirsk region, is under the control of their leadership.
