Over the past day, 303 road accidents were recorded on Russian roads, in which 26 people were killed and another 351 injured. Among the dead, 21 people were drivers and passengers. There were 19 bus accidents on the roads of Russia, in which one person died, and 22 more road users needed medical help. 12 bus accidents were caused by traffic violations committed by drivers of other vehicles.
Over the past day, 53 accidents involving minors were registered, in which 55 young road users were injured, including 18 passengers, 19 drivers, four of whom were driving motor vehicles. A child pedestrian died due to the inattention of adults.

On the eve of the first weekend in September, the State Traffic Inspectorate reminded parents of underage road users of the need to be more attentive to their children, trying to ensure maximum safety for them.
