The water level in the small rivers of the Khabarovsk Territory began to decrease

The flood situation in the Khabarovsk Territory remains relatively stable. A decrease in water was noted on the small rivers Kiya and Khor, but a slight increase was recorded on the Amur River section from the village of Malmyzh to Nikolaevsk-on-Amur.

As IA AmurMedia clarifies with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region, nine household plots were cleared of water in the Lazo area in the village of Pereyaslavka. No changes have been made in other localities so far.

In total, lowlands and floodplain areas in 30 settlements, including Khabarovsk and Komsomolsk-on-Amur, are still under the influence of flooding in the region. Water cut off the paths to 529 household and suburban areas, 28 sections of intra-village and five sections of inter-village roads were flooded.

The Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region monitors the situation around the clock. Local government administrations have commissions to assess the damage caused by the disaster.

In the Khabarovsk Territory, as of August 31, 37 settlements in eight municipalities remained under the influence of the flood. 576 household and suburban plots, 24 intra-village plots and five sections of inter-village roads were flooded in them.
