Residents of the Moscow region were fined 2 million rubles for parking on lawns

During the week in the Moscow region, 546 drivers were fined for parking on lawns and near container sites. The amount of fines amounted to 2 million rubles.

According to the Ministry of Territorial Maintenance and State Housing Supervision of the region, 477 violations are related to the abandonment of cars in areas with green spaces. 69 car owners were held accountable for parking at container sites, writes the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya.

The application "People's Inspector" is working to record violations in the Moscow region. It allows timely reporting of cases of cars being abandoned on lawns, container yards, and playgrounds.

Earlier, a survey of motorists showed that 29% of drivers regularly violate traffic rules. The reason for violations is often inattention, as well as haste and peculiarities of traffic management.
