On September 5 and 6, Moscow will host festive programs dedicated to the 879th anniversary of the capital. Concerts will be organized at six key venues in the city, where famous artists and bands will perform, and musical hits of recent years will be heard from the stages. Festive events dedicated to the Day of the City of Moscow will unite residents of different districts
and they will be a bright start to the autumn season in the city.

"On September 5 and 6, hundreds of events for citizens will be held at our venues in different districts of the capital. It will be possible to celebrate Moscow's birthday not only in the city center, but also in your neighborhood not far from home - concerts of pop artists and orchestras, performances and theatrical productions, intellectual quizzes and quizzes, creative workshops and cooking lessons, film screenings and stunt performances await all Muscovites," said the Minister of the Moscow Government, Alexey Fursin, Head of the Moscow Department of Culture.

A single time for all venues celebrating the 879th anniversary of the city of Moscow: September 5 from 12:00 to 21:00, September 6 from 15:00 to 20:00.

A rich musical program awaits guests at the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve. For two days, the audience will enjoy a curated program featuring opera singers, symphony orchestras, and piano ensembles. On September 5, Tsaritsyno will host a large concert program, which will feature the Orchestra of Folk Instruments of the N.V. Kutuzov Academic Russian Song Choir of the Orpheus Television and Radio Center, the Inspiration Orchestra led by Konstantin Petrovich, the State Kremlin Orchestra, the Moscow Jazz Orchestra conducted by People's Artist of Russia Igor Butman, the Phonograph Symphony Orchestra.Jazz" conducted by People's Artist of Russia Sergey Zhilin and piano trio "Bel Suono". On the same day, students of the Vishnevskaya College of Musical and Theatrical Arts will perform for the guests of the museum-reserve. The City Day in Novo-Peredelkino will be filled with modern music and vibrant performances. Moscow theater artists will also congratulate the guests of the holiday on the City Day. On the stage in Izmailovo, the Moscow Illusion Theater will present the programs "The Best City on Earth" and "To You, Moscow!"

On September 5, in the evening, the Moscow State Academic Dance Theater "Gzhel", the Moscow State Academic Chamber Choir, the Men's Chamber Choir conducted by Valery Rybin, the Men's Choir "Russian Format", the Optina Pustyn Men's Choir, the All-Russian choral project "Hit Choir", the vocal quartet "TeAmo", art project "Tenors of the XXI century", art group "Turkish Choir".
