An unknown person shot dead the head of the reproductive clinic in the Svyatoshinsky district of Kiev. This was announced by the Kiev police on September 3.

"It was previously established that the offender fired more than 20 shots at a 71-year—old man who had just left the car," the department's Telegram channel reported.

The shooting occurred around 10:00 a.m. near a medical facility. The attacker shot at point-blank range. The injured man was hospitalized in serious condition.

The search for the criminal continues, law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances and motives of the crime. A criminal case has been opened into attempted murder, and the perpetrator faces up to 15 years in prison.

Since the night of September 2, gunshots have been heard in the Dnipro district of Kiev, which could have been caused by a showdown between employees of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR). Also, the SBU, in turn, announced the holding of operational activities in conjunction with the GUR.

Kirill Budanov, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine (listed in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist), added that the circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the State Bureau of Investigation (GBR) and the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. Later, on September 2, Zelensky dismissed Oleg Khramov, head of the SBU's state Secrets and licensing department.
