Belarus announces agreement with Russia on all issues

Russia and Belarus reached an agreement on all relevant issues on the bilateral agenda during the negotiations. This was announced to journalists on September 2 by the Prime Minister of the Republic, Alexander Turchin.

According to the head of government, the current state of Belarusian-Russian relations can be described as very positive. He noted that the parties had managed to agree on virtually all points of interaction.

"In general, I would describe the current state of Belarusian-Russian relations very positively. We have managed to come to an agreement on virtually all issues. I think that in the medium term these agreements will be consolidated and we will successfully implement them," the BelTA news agency quoted Turchin as saying.

Moscow and Minsk have agreed on cooperation in microelectronics and a common foreign policy agenda

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Moscow on August 27. The next day, he met with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, where he stated that Minsk and Moscow had a common problem related to the situation south of the republic and in western Russia.

On Saturday, August 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with his Belarusian counterpart at the Novo-Ogaryovo residence near Moscow. During the meeting, Putin pointed out that despite all attempts to influence from the outside, trade and economic cooperation between the two countries is developing successfully.
