Blogger Nigai was fined for non-payment of online advertising fees

The Arbitration Court of the Moscow region has recovered from blogger Karina Nigai almost 14 thousand rubles of mandatory deductions from income from the distribution of online advertising. This follows from the materials that Izvestia reviewed on September 2.

Roskomnadzor demanded to collect from Nigai the deductions provided for by the law on advertising. The requirements were fully satisfied.

According to the legislation, distributors of online advertising and a number of other participants in the advertising market are required to transfer 3% of the income received from such services to the federal budget.

In early August, blogger Dani Milokhin was arrested for 407 thousand rubles for a song published on TikTok. The author of the composition filed a claim for the protection of the exclusive right to a musical work. It was noted that the blogger posted the song on a social network without proper permission.
