Moscow will expand its support for the creation of modern production facilities within the framework of the Integrated Territorial Development Program (CDT) projects. This was stated by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his channel in Maks.

By 2030, the area of the capital's high-tech industrial development should almost double to more than 25 million square meters, the head of Moscow said. For example, the Technopolis Moscow special economic Zone will feature innovative production facilities and R&D centers in priority industries: microelectronics, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, and electric vehicles.

Sobyanin recalled that more than 470 CRT projects are at the stages of development and implementation, 46 of which include the deployment of industrial infrastructure. About 70% of such facilities will be built within the boundaries of former production areas. "Depressive territories will turn into cozy neighborhoods," the mayor emphasized.

The head of the capital recalled that within the framework of the CRT, investors are building neighborhoods with comfortable housing, social facilities, offices and shops. In addition, eco-friendly production facilities are being created in the territories of integrated development. Much attention is paid to landscaping, exhibition and public spaces.

One of the largest projects is the reorganization of the site of the Tushinsky Machine—Building Plant, Sobyanin noted. It is planned to build housing, public and business facilities and a modern technopark for advanced light industry enterprises on the territory of 46.3 hectares. The project will provide about 1.8 thousand high-tech jobs to the citizens.

Earlier it was reported that from January to July 2026, Moscow signed 63 construction contracts with developers. Due to this, more than 306 hectares of inefficiently used territories will be returned to economic circulation. In particular, it is planned to build over 5.1 million square meters there. m housing.
