The WEF announced plans to increase the number of students from APEC countries

Russia intends to increase the number of students from the participating countries of the Asia—Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). This was announced on September 2 by Dmitry Birichevsky, Director of the Department of Economic Cooperation of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"We remain open to sharing our experience and hope to expand the tradition of teaching students from APEC countries," he stressed in a video message to the participants of the APEC International Conference on Cooperation in Higher Education on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

The diplomat noted that Russia still relies on the development of educational programs in the fields of medicine, natural sciences, engineering and digital technologies.
