The Russian ambassador to Germany has strongly rejected the accusations made by Berlin, calling them unsubstantiated, absurd and contrary to common sense. This was announced on September 1 by the Russian Embassy in Germany.

The Russian ambassador also told the German Foreign Ministry that the authorities of the republic continue their policy of systematically destroying bilateral relations.
