In the Kherson region, at the entrance to the village of Alyoshki, Ukrainian drones attacked a humanitarian convoy, and a volunteer was injured in a drone strike. This was announced on September 1 by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.

He specified that there were four cars in the convoy, they were carrying food and medicines for the residents of the city. After a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) hovered in front of the first car, the entire column stopped. The drone's camera examined the column. After making sure that there was only civilian cargo inside, the drone struck.

"Then, one after another, attacks on civilian transport followed, until the cars were smashed and the cargo was destroyed. The drivers and the volunteers accompanying the cargo managed to leave the transport and hide in the nearest boarding area. According to preliminary information, one of the volunteers is injured," Miroshnik wrote on his Telegram channel.

The diplomat stressed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces committed a war crime with particular cynicism, deliberately disrupting the humanitarian mission.

The head of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR), Leonid Pasechnik, announced on the same day that four civilians were killed and three wounded after the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the LNR. On the Anthracite – Red Ray road, a civilian truck was hit by a UAV, killing the driver and passenger. Two more trucks were attacked in the Krasny Kut and Malonikolayevka areas of the Anthracite district, killing both drivers.
