A natural fire was eliminated in Anapa

In Anapa, a natural fire in the floodplains was eliminated, which was extinguished for almost two days. This was announced on September 1 by the head of the city Svetlana Maslova.

It is noted that firefighters from Anapa, Abinsk, Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik, Timashevsk, Temryuk and other municipalities were involved in extinguishing the fire.

"I would like to note the clear and well-coordinated work of the firefighters... As always, our Cossacks were at the forefront with them. Police officers ensured public order and controlled the situation on the roads," Maslova wrote on the Maks messenger.

She stressed that thanks to the prompt response to residents' messages, it was possible to prevent the spread of fire to the residential sector. There are no casualties.

A natural fire in Anapa occurred on August 30, and traffic along the federal highway was restricted. Initially, the fire area was about 10 hectares. Later, the area of active burning in the gorenje near Anapa was reduced to 0.5 hectares, and the fire was assigned the fourth degree of difficulty.
