The Air Defense Forces shot down and destroyed five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that were heading towards the capital. This was announced on August 31 by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

"Five more enemy drones flying to Moscow have been destroyed," he wrote on the Maks messenger.
