A court in Moscow has begun bankruptcy proceedings for the Decathlon chain of stores

The Moscow Arbitration Court has introduced a monitoring procedure in the framework of the bankruptcy case of Oktoblu JSC, the head office of the Desport sports store chain, which previously operated under the Decathlon brand. This became known on August 31.

According to RIA Novosti, the court found the statement of Andrei Taskin, to whom Orbitex LLC transferred the rights of claim to the debtor, to be justified. Taskin's claims in the amount of about 19 million rubles are included in the register of creditors' claims of Oktoblu, clarifiesГазета.Ru ".

Anna Prokhorenko from the association "Dostoyanie" was approved as the interim manager. The trial of the case is scheduled for February 10, 2027.

Pavel Lyulin, co-chairman of the Association of Commercial Real Estate and Retail Experts, suggested that the Desport retailer's premises in Russia could be occupied by the Sportmaster sports network if declared bankrupt.
